Quotes & Payment
All quotations are provided individually unless otherwise stated.
A deposit is usually required before work begins.
Exact pricing, payment terms, and project scope will be confirmed in the relevant quote, proposal, or written agreement.
For many one-off projects, staged payments may apply.
For recurring services such as maintenance or monthly SEO support, payment is typically required in advance.
Work may be paused or suspended if payment is not received.
Late or Non-Payment
If payment is overdue, PROJECT227 reserves the right to:
- pause active work
- suspend ongoing services
- suspend maintenance support
- delay project delivery
- withhold final files, website handover, or deliverables until payment is received
Any resumed work may be subject to revised timelines.
Revisions
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, standard projects include up to three reasonable revision rounds.
Revision rounds apply to refinements of the selected concept and do not include entirely new design directions unless agreed separately.
Additional revisions, major scope changes, or requests outside agreed scope may be charged separately.
What is considered “reasonable” remains at PROJECT227’s discretion, acting fairly and commercially
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing information, approvals, content, images, branding materials, access credentials, and feedback required for the project.
If delays occur because the client does not provide required materials or approvals in a timely manner, delivery timelines may be extended accordingly.
PROJECT227 is not responsible for delays caused by client inaction.
Refunds
Refund requests are considered fairly and proportionately depending on the stage of work completed.
Generally:
- where no work has started, a refund may be possible
- where partial work has been completed, only a partial refund may be considered
- where substantial work has already been completed, refunds are unlikely
Deposits may be non-refundable once work has begun.
Ownership & Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed, ownership of final approved deliverables transfers to the client only after full payment has been received.
Until payment is completed in full, PROJECT227 retains ownership of work, concepts, drafts, files, and deliverables.
PROJECT227 may use completed work for portfolio, promotional, or marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Third-Party Tools, Plugins & Licences
Some projects may involve third-party software, plugins, fonts, assets, or external services.
Where ongoing third-party subscriptions, licences, hosting renewals, or paid tools are required, these may remain the client’s responsibility unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
PROJECT227 is not responsible for third-party pricing changes, licence terms, outages, or provider decisions.
Hosting
Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, clients are responsible for arranging and maintaining their own hosting and domain services.
PROJECT227 may assist with setup where agreed, but ongoing responsibility remains with the client unless covered by a separate support arrangement.
Website Handover & Post-Launch Responsibility
Once a website has been delivered, approved, and handed over, PROJECT227 is not responsible for:
- changes made by the client
- third-party modifications
- plugin conflicts caused by later changes
- hosting-related issues
- website damage caused after handover
- security issues resulting from client actions or neglected updates
Ongoing support is available separately where agreed.
Local SEO Services
PROJECT227 provides local SEO implementation and support services.
SEO performance depends on many external factors beyond our control.
We do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic levels, enquiries, leads, or business results.
Website Compliance Essentials
PROJECT227 may offer website compliance-related implementation services.
These services are intended to improve website privacy/compliance presentation and implementation practices.
They do not constitute:
- legal advice
- solicitor services
- formal legal representation
- guaranteed GDPR compliance
- guaranteed regulatory compliance
Clients requiring formal legal advice should consult a qualified legal professional.

Limitation of Liability
